First Class had a very enjoyable visit to the Community Garden in Ashbourne last month. Having planted potato seeds in Senior Infants, the children returned to dig them up and see how they had grown. It was a great opportunity to learn about the growing process, the importance of caring for plants, and the rewards of patience and teamwork. Many thanks to Mick, our school caretaker, for supporting the children with this project.
